Mueller Hearing Not Enough for Impeachment; Carl Davidson (KD); United Steelworkers; July 25, 2019.

KD describes himself on Facebook as a “Truthseeker, Changemaker, Student of The Way, Pilgrim on the Road.”

Please read “They know they can’t win if they don’t lie.”

You can learn more about BCR’s leftster management here.  “Leftster” is the combination of leftist and gangster, inspired by the left-originated “bankster.”

Below is a review of the subject USW post.

“It will take more than the Mueller Hearing to Impeach Trump.”

[RWC] No kidding!  Who did?

“That’s my conclusion from watching the Mueller hearing and the ensuing commentary.  I’m one who believes that when it comes to high crimes and misdemeanors, Trump is guilty as sin.  But that’s because I’ve not only read ‘The Report,’ I’ve also dug into a lot more, beyond the parameters imposed on the Special Prosecutor and his team.  Trump, for example, has been laundering billons for Russian oligarchs for decades, ever since his Atlantic City casinos went bust.  But these kinds of facts, along with Trump’s tax returns, are supposed to be out of bounds.”

[RWC] My experience with KD is he has truth problems.  Translation: Regardless of how large or small, fact-check any of KD’s facts you care about.  You should do this for everyone, including me.  KD posts tend to be long on accusation and short on truthful, supporting info.

By “dug into a lot more,” you’ll likely find it means leftist sources and/or KD’s imagination.  You’ll note KD didn’t cite his sources.

“Likewise.  Mueller placed himself in a self-constricted box ahead of time, saying his testimony would be limited by the ‘four corners’ of the report.  This left his GOP inquisitors free to rant and rave unchallenged except defensively.  Mueller had restrictions; they didn’t.”

[RWC] From what little I saw of RM’s testimony, Democrats should be happy RM stuck to the report.  RM looked confused at times.  Had RM and the DOJ decided to allow broad questioning, I think both Democrats and Republicans would have regretted it.

“There’s one way it could be overcome.  It just requires every adult citizen to read the 448-page Mueller Report for themselves.  Unfortunately, that is not likely to happen.  One reason among many is that Trump’s button-pushing daily spectacles put up a smokescreen.  He wants us to ignore the crisis caused by his tariffs or embrace his policy of cruelty toward people at our borders seeking safety and work.”

[RWC] Require “every adult citizen to read the 448-page Mueller Report for themselves.”  Sure.  In the interest of full disclosure, I didn’t read the report and don’t plan to.  As I’ve done my entire adult life, if there’s a topic I care about, I’ll search the report for the info I need.

“Trump’s latest bizarre assertion, that Article Two of the Constitution means he ‘can do whatever I want,’ is reason enough for an impeachment hearingArticle Two does the exact opposite, defining any number of things a U.S. president cannot do.  This is the voice of a tyrannical autocrat, and dealing with it put us in a situation that is not going to end well.  We are in uncharted territory where normal gets redefined every day.”

[RWC] Article II, Section 4, says, “The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

I have no idea why DT falsely claimed Article II allowed a president to do whatever he wanted.  DT obviously knows he can’t do whatever he wants.

KD also fumbled the ball, however, when he falsely claimed Article II “defined any number of things a U.S. president cannot do.”  The “defined any number of things” are “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors” and applies “to all civil Officers of the United States,” not just the President.  Perhaps I’m nitpicking, but when I read “any number of things,” I’m thinking of a lot more than four.  For a guy who “teaches” the Constitution to fellow lefties, KD should know better.  KD likely knows what he wrote is false, but counts on his followers not to check.

In case you missed it, KD’s pushing for “an impeachment hearing” simply because he didn’t like DT’s words (“he ‘can do whatever I want.’”)  It sounds like something out of the movie “Minority Report.”

“Probably a third of the country would like to see Trump impeached.  The NAACP national convention a few days ago called for it unanimously.  Another third want to see him re-elected no matter what he says or does, some because they give his racism a pass and cling to his promises; others because they have been enclosed in Trump’s fascistic, anti-Constitutional bubble.  This means the battles continue to get him out, by an election or impeachment, whichever comes first.  But this is not a spectator sport.  If you’re not already engaged, the time to start is now.”

[RWC] As for calling DT a fascist, racist, and “anti-Constitutional,” KD should be careful.  All of those smears apply to KD, except he’s also a communist/fascist hybrid.

As for the NAACP, who cares?  Let’s go back to 1991.  You would think the NAACP would have been happy President George H.W. Bush nominated a young (42 years old), successful black man to the highest court in the U.S.  Sadly, that was not the case.  Most of us forget the NAACP vigorously opposed the nomination of Judge Clarence Thomas (He was on the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit at the time.) to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1991.  The national NAACP even went so far as to threaten to suspend officers of a local NAACP chapter that did endorse Mr. Thomas.  Further, the NAACP didn’t say a word when Democrats turned the confirmation process into what Mr. Thomas described as “a circus.  It’s a national disgrace.  And from my standpoint as a black American, as far as I’m concerned, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you.  You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree.”

NAACP animosity for Mr. Thomas didn’t stop there.  Several years later, the NAACP-Maryland planned to protest a speech by Justice Thomas to the Boys and Girls Club of Delaware.  The NAACP “justified” the planned protest by saying, “we cannot in good conscience stand or sit by and have him [Justice Thomas] come into our state as a role model for black youth without conveying our antipathies about him and his philosophies.”  Yes, you read that right.  The NAACP doesn’t consider a person who went from poverty as a child to U.S. Supreme Court justice to be “a role model for black youth.”  I’ll get more into this phenomenon later.  Justice Thomas canceled the speech saying, “he did not object to peaceful demonstrations but did not think it prudent or wise to expose the children to the demonstration.”  In this case, the NAACP accomplished its mission to silence Justice Thomas.  You may wonder what sin Mr. Thomas committed in the eyes of the NAACP.  Mr. Thomas opposes so-called “affirmative action” programs.  In effect, Mr. Thomas was guilty of “being conservative while black.”

Where was the NAACP when leftist Harry Belafonte compared then-Secretary of State Colin Powell to a “house nigger” and when a black “journalist” wrote about then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, “That stupid bitch is Aunt Jemima?”  Where was the NAACP when “cartoonist” Ted Rall depicted Miss Rice referring to herself as “Bush’s … house nigga?”  If the NAACP and NOW believed in truth in advertising, they would change their names to National Association for the Advancement of Leftist Colored People and National Organization for Leftist Women.
