Below is a review of the subject Facebook post.
KD wrote, “THIS IS CAPITALIST INSANITY. We cling to a system that gives less health care to fewer people at higher costs--and we still think we’re #1. The hubris of the superpower mentality never ceases to amaze me.”
[RWC] Though both the subject Bloomberg piece and KD wrote of expensive medical treatment and thus medical insurance, did you notice neither Bloomberg nor KD explained how we got here?
The source of this mess dates back at least to FDR and World War II. My Healthcare paper (last updated June 29, 2015) has the details and the mess has nothing to do with “CAPITALIST INSANITY.”
