This is the second attack on cable news in a little over a week. Looks like someone is worried about something.

I don’t know if it’s tongue in cheek, but does the Times really expect us to believe “The Daily Show [on Comedy Central] … [is] what real cable TV news should be?” I like to watch The Daily Show occasionally myself, but it’s no more a news show than is talk radio. I’m suspect the Times “support” of The Daily Show has more to do with denigrating real cable news and the fact Jon Stewart (The Daily Show host) openly supports John Kerry for president.
