BCT Editorial – 2/28/08

Walk away; Editorial; Beaver County Times; February 28, 2008.

This editorial is hilarious.  The Times actually expects us to believe it wants Ralph Nader to “[w]alk away” from the presidential campaign because it’s concerned Mr. Nader’s “credibility and reputation take a hit” when he runs and “presidential folly [could] overshadow his life’s accomplishments.”

How stupid does the Times believe we are?  The Times expects the election to be close and doesn’t want more than one liberal candidate in the race to split the liberal vote.  Remember, when Democrats/libs aren’t ranting that George Bush somehow stole the 2000 election, they blame their loss on Mr. Nader for sucking too many votes away from Al Gore.

If a second Republican candidate decides to run this year, does anyone believe we’ll see a similar editorial asking him to back out?
