The subtitle of the editorial is “Lawmakers and governor must put the good of the state ahead of election-year politics.”

This is the second editorial within a month with the same theme. The subtitle of “Starting point” was “Rendell’s infrastructure proposals in 2008-09 budget should be above politics.” In my critique of that editorial, I observed, “Have you noticed all spending advocated by the Times ‘should be above politics?’”
