BCT Editorial – 4/19/08

This page was last updated on April 19, 2008.

Wasted effort; Editorial; Beaver County Times; April 19, 2008.

The editorial subtitle is “Revenue from slot machines should have been used for infrastructure needs.”

As we’ve seen with the obsession with banning smoking on private property, Times editorials never give up on a bad idea.

Since at least May 2006, Times editorials have lobbied to use slots and other gambling tax revenue for anything but the intended property tax relief.  Among these editorials are “Wrong priority,” “Look ahead,” “Misplaced,” “More, please,” and “Building a future.”

Since this editorial adds no new arguments, please refer to my critiques of the above editorials for my comments.
