BCT Editorial – 4/27/08

Splitsville; Editorial; Beaver County Times; April 27, 2008.

This editorial is using the fact that 27% of PA Republican primary voters voted for someone other than John McCain to fuel the Times hope Republicans will sit out the general election so the Democrat candidate can win.  In the interest of disclosure, I wrote in Pat Toomey but will vote for Mr. McCain in November.  Even a Rockefeller Republican is better than a leftist.

While we’re on primary results, the editorial failed to note Hillary Clinton got only 56% of the Michigan Democrat primary vote despite the fact Barack Obama wasn’t on the ballot.  With 40% of the vote, “undecided/uncommitted” came in second.  Now that’s embarrassing.
