Given the Times history on taxes, who didn’t see “The possibility of a $10-million increase over projections has led some critics of the tax to call for it to be scaled back. That would be a mistake.” coming?

Notice the editorial never addressed where those tax dollars would have gone otherwise. You know, goods and services that provide jobs and allow people to put food on the table, a roof over their head, save for retirement, a child’s education, et cetera.
