Another aggravation; Editorial; Beaver County Times; May 6, 2008.

The editorial subtitle is “Region’s designation as nation’s sootiest is another image obstacle to overcome.”

A more accurate title would have been “Another excuse.” This is simply another editorial attempting to explain why some superficial issue holds back Western PA and the state. “Serving youth” is another example. It’s so much easier when you can blame something like not having an Interstate designation for Route 60, Crow’s Run extension, et cetera. That way you don’t have to address the tough issues like business environment, taxes, et cetera.
