Remember this editorial the next time a Times editorial cries crocodile tears about fiscal profligacy while also telling us we’re selfish for not wanting our taxes increase.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure The Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Museum of Rural Life may be a great place to visit and learn, but did we need to spend $2 million of taxpayer income on it. Private funds paid for a portion of the site. Why not all of it?
