The editorial doesn’t say, but given the strong trend that the Times supports just about any government infrastructure proposal that comes down the pike, I suspect the Times supported the Midfield Terminal. That’s the reason for the editorial.

What’s hysterical is the Times attempts to compare itself to Warren Buffett. The editorial is correct that Mr. Buffett has a pretty good track record and that even the best can make mistakes. The editorial, however, doesn’t mention the Times track record.

Until the Times publishes its overall scorecard, including things like the David Lawrence Convention Center, Heinz Field, PNC Park, Lord & Taylor, Lazarus, Toll Route 60, the Amos K. Hutchinson (D) Bypass near Greensburg, et cetera, perhaps it should cool any comparisons to Warren Buffett.
