Hard times; Editorial; Beaver County Times; June 6, 2008.

Two days ago in “Future shock” the Times told us we needed massive investments in our railroad infrastructure because demand – caused by economic activity – was outstripping capacity.

In this editorial we read “Food banks and soup kitchens are doing a booming business,” “Despair is in the air,” and we get a comparison to the Great Depression.  Never let it be said the Times worries about factual and logical inconsistencies – or employing hyperbole – when trying to promote its economic, political, and social agendas.
