The editorial subtitle is “Proposal to make it easier to cast absentee ballots is worth pursuing.”

If you make it to the end of the editorial, you find absolutely no mention of opening the door for voter fraud. Given the Times position expressed in “Above politics,” that should come as no surprise.

Finally, I don’t believe it’s a coincidence some are pushing mail-in voting just when we’re beginning to get serious about requiring a photo ID when we vote.
