The editorial subtitle is “No reason to worry about changing U.S. demographics.”

The editorial says, “The nativists who fear that these immigrants will ruin the United States don’t understand what makes America great.” Yet again we have a Times editorial conflating illegal aliens and legal immigrants, and referring to those of us who oppose illegal entry into the United States as nativists. Among previous examples of this tactic are “Stoop labor,” “American dreamers,” “A connection,” “Why the fuss?,” “Return of the nativists,” and “Puzzling.”
