A jolt of reality; Editorial; Beaver County Times; December 11, 2008.

The editorial subtitle is “More radioactive waste is downside to building nuclear power plants.”

My response to the editorial subtitle is, “Duh!” Also, don’t expect to see similar comments regarding the shortcomings of leftist approved energy sources. You can identify leftist approved energy sources because they are not currently technically and/or economically viable enough to provide large amounts of energy.

Since this is the second editorial within four months on this topic and the editorial raises no new issues, please read my critique of “Easy does it” for most of my comments.

Note the comment about “global-warming deniers.” What is it with the Times that it can rarely write an editorial without getting into name-calling regarding its opposition? Please read my paper “Manmade Global Warming” for my comments on this topic.
