Chain of events; Editorial; Beaver County Times; February 11, 2009.

The editorial subtitle is “Government alone can ensure the relative safety of the food we eat.”

If the theme of the subtitle sounds familiar, it should.  Since his election, President Obama has been telling us “only government” can do this or that regarding improving the economy.  Expect Times editorials to echo other Obama language.

Finally, the editorial says, “Nobody wants the government interfering with businesses.”  What in the Times editorial body of work supports that claim?
