The editorial subtitle is “Obama’s school reform plan won’t be any more successful than others.”

You’ll notice the editorial didn’t mention the federal government has no constitutional responsibilities regarding education.

Regarding the assertion that “That’s why the one place Obama’s reforms could make a difference is in early childhood development, where he wants to spend more money on Head Start, to expand child-care access and to do more for children with special needs,” please read my critiques of “Jogging around” (6/10/05) and “First steps” (4/5/06) for my comments.
