Never ever; Editorial; Beaver County Times; April 29, 2009.

Since October 2004, at least 19 Times editorials have cited “The Daily Show” and/or “The Colbert Report” as news sources and/or sources of insight.  This is the third editorial to do so this month and the fourth this year.  Previously I wrote I didn’t know if this is funny or sad.  I concluded it’s sad.

As for the remaining editorial content, it’s little more than name-calling.  If you research Times editorials, they frequently call politicians cowards when the politicians don’t support a pet Times policy.  Is this what they teach in journalism school, or is it learned on the job?
