BCT Editorial – 9/13/09

Cool down; Editorial; Beaver County Times; September 13, 2009.

There’s not much to say about this editorial other than to point out the obvious hypocrisy.  Times editorials and in-house pundit J.D. Prose constantly engage in flame-throwing, name-calling, et cetera and today we have a three-fer (two editorials and a Prose column) complaining about decorum.  Funny how this wasn’t a problem when George W. Bush was President, isn’t it?  Please read my critique of the Prose column for more comments about this.  Did you notice no one complained when President Obama said his opponents were lying?

Comparing Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) to “Hanoi Jane” Fonda?  Seriously?  Did you ever notice when lefties want to insult a righty, they invoke the names of lefties.  Comparing those on the right with national socialist Adolf Hitler is another example.

About the only thing that surprised me about this three-fer was that the Times didn’t stop its out-sourced presses on Wednesday night/Thursday morning to get these “defenses” of President Obama out immediately.
