This critique is only to address two excerpts, “Right-wing, anti-immigrant populism strikes again, this time in Switzerland” and “the ban was an ‘example of growing anti-Islamic incitement in Europe by the extremist, anti-immigrant, xenophobic, racist, scare-mongering ultra-right politicians who reign over common sense, wisdom and universal values.’”

This is just another drive-by smear of the U.S. right. Remember, to the Times, supporting legal immigration and the enforcement of existing U.S. immigration laws is “anti-immigrant populism.”
