Global warning; Editorial; Beaver County Times; February 14, 2010.

If you are familiar with the Times substantial editorial body of work on this topic, you know it is a believer in the religion of manmade global warming.

The editorial accuses “Anti-global warming people” of misleading the public because of this winter’s snow storms.  It is true climate and weather are not the same thing, but I believe this is the first time the Times has made this distinction.  For example, when manmade global warming believers use a warmer than “normal” day or week as confirmation of manmade global warming, you don’t see editorials like this.  The editorial also failed to take to task the believers who have been telling is the snow is actually proof of manmade global warming.  In case you haven’t noticed, regardless of the weather (hot/cold, wet/dry, windy or not, et cetera), it’s actually proof of manmade global warming according to believers.

There’s one other omission.  Since the East Anglia University Climate Research Unit e-mail scandal (aka Climategate) broke in November, the Times has been silent.  That’s also true for the false claim about the Himalaya glaciers disappearing and every other piece of “settled science” that’s been disproved recently.
