Safer roads; Editorial; Beaver County Times; February 21, 2010.
The editorial implies the reported “alcohol-related deaths, not-restrained deaths and aggressive-driving deaths - all dropped” because “Penn-DOT [sic] had targeted” these areas but provided no supporting evidence. While it’s possible PennDOT’s alleged efforts had an effect, it’s also possible other factors had greater impact. Without a thorough analysis, which we didn’t get from the editorial, there’s no way to tell.
