Times editorials whining about deficits and debt would be laughable if the topic weren’t so serious. I documented the Times changing positions in “Under control.” Further, check the history of Times editorials and you find they support just about every spending program that comes down the pike. Finally, less than two weeks ago the Times engaged in a name-calling rant (“Off balance,” 3/5/10) against a senator who was holding up a bill because it included no means of funding and added to our debt.
