Times editorials crying crocodile tears over deficits, debt, and spending would be laughable if the topic weren’t so serious.  I documented the Times changing positions in “Under control.”  Further, check the history of Times editorials and you find they support just about every spending program that comes down the pike.

You may recall only five weeks ago the Times engaged in a name-calling rant (“Off balance,” 3/5/10) against a senator who held up a bill because it included no means of funding and added to our debt.  Since then, the Times hailed the $1+ trillion Obamacare income/wealth redistribution program, recommended holding up state budgets cuts, and expressed displeasure PennDOT is being forced into using cost/benefit analyses to determine which infrastructure projects to tackle.
