BCT Editorial – 7/8/10

Did you notice the editorial didn’t tell us why the Times apparently believes programs costing $19 billion out of a $28 billion budget should be immune from spending cuts to balance the budget?  As a reminder, the Times preferred approach to addressing deficit spending is to increase taxes.  As I noted in my critique of “Doing as others do,” a big problem is PA spending increases have exceeded inflation.
