BCT Editorial – 9/28/10

I couldn’t find the entire text of the resolution issued by the Texas State Board of Education, but here’s an excerpt: “[The] State Board of Education will look to reject future prejudicial social studies submissions that continue to offend Texas law with respect to treatment of the world’s major religious groups by significant inequalities of coverage space–wise and by demonizing or lionizing one or more of them over others.”  Yep, there’s no question that’s an indication of “Islamaphobia.”

I’m sure it was an honest oversight - not, but the editorial failed to note the resolution is nonbinding.
