Quick hits; Editorial; Beaver County Times; February 10, 2011.

Regarding “CROSS YOUR FINGERS,” the editorial appears to consider the Horsehead “in-house power plant” to be a positive.  Is the Times not aware the G.F. Weaton Station is coal fired?  I thought the Times was all about “green” energy. <g>

Regarding “WITCH HUNT,” the editorial says, “Americans who understand their nation’s history (as opposed to the myths being manufactured on the right) should be leery.”  Note the drive-by accusation.  Does anyone care to guess why the editorial didn’t provide examples of “the myths being manufactured on the right?”  In any case, to the best of my knowledge, mythological witches don’t exist.  Does the Times believe radicalized Muslims don’t exist in the U.S.?
