Regarding “REWARDING,” the editorial asserts “When conservative politicians are caught doing something sexually naughty, they don’t resign. … Lee forgot a cardinal rule of conservative politics: Hypocrisy has its rewards.”  The implication is leftist politicians resign when “caught doing something sexually naughty,” just like then-President Bill Clinton, U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-MA), et cetera.  Oh wait, these guys never resigned, did they?  How stupid does the Times believe its readers are?  It seems the Times never gets tired throwing rocks from within its glass house.  FYI, my position on cheating politicians is this: If a politician cheats on her/his spouse and family, how can he/she be trusted not to cheat on her/his constituents/community/county/state/country under the right (wrong?) circumstances?
