Iraq vs. World War II; Cindy Cosgrove; Beaver County Times; November 29, 2006.

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“While it is true that we have now spent more time fighting in Iraq than we did fighting in World War II, let’s not forget that Harry Truman’s ‘exit strategy’ was implemented by two atomic ambassadors, Fat Man and Little Boy, instantly killing over 100,000 Japanese.”

[RWC] I don’t have a clue what point Ms. Cosgrove tried to make.  Was Ms. Cosgrove bashing President Truman for ordering use of the bombs, or was she trying to say it’s a possibility President Bush would use nukes?
