Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“Who is U.S. Rep. Jason Altmire representing? This is the problem with career politicians. They forget to serve their district’s needs and feed into their own egos.”

[RWC] Mr. Altmire hasn’t yet completed his first term. Far be it from me to defend Democrats, but I think it takes more than an as yet unfinished single term to qualify as a “career politician.”

As to Ms. DeSantis’ question, “Who is U.S. Rep. Jason Altmire representing?”, he’s supposed to represent his entire district, not just Democrats.

“If Altmire doesn’t support and understand the needs of the 69 percent of Beaver County Democrats who voted for Hillary Clinton in the presidential primary, you can be sure Altmire will not see my vote at his next re-election.

“I welcome the 69 percent of Beaver County Democrats to do the same at Altmire’s re-election. Remember Altmire’s actions.”
