Undoing Bush’s damage; Thomas Finch; Beaver County Times; October 7, 2007.

Mr. Finch’s letters never disappoint.  As usual, his letter is little more than a string of liberal talking points.  It’s at least the 16th anti-Bush and/or anti-Republican letter from Mr. Finch since December 2004 and the 11th since August 2006.  Here is one example.  I wish he could get a regular column in the Times.  I also wish he could get at least five minutes per day on a local radio and/or TV station.

Since this letter is just another exercise in name-calling and reciting talking points and I’ve addressed all of them at one time or another, I’ll address only one of Mr. Finch’s comments.

Mr. Finch wrote, “We saw some changes in 2006 when the Democrats took back Congress.  Continuing the trend and taking back the White House is the only way to undo Bush’s damage.  Let’s have change for the better.”  Mr. Finch doesn’t tell us what those changes were.  If they were so great, why not list them?  You’ll also note Mr. Finch doesn’t define “change for the better,” except for giving Democrats more power.  Why won’t Mr. Finch tell us the specifics?
