Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“One observation that I will make about the Terry Schiavo situation is that it is a very private Florida family matter, a very unfortunate private family affair.

“The question I have is, what is anyone from Pennsylvania doing in a private Florida family affair?

“U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum should worry about Pennsylvanians, not Floridians. They have a Bush to watch over them already.”

[RWC] Let me get this straight. Just because Ms. Schiavo was living in another state, Mr. Gillespie is bashing Mr. Santorum for trying to help her and her family? What kind of person would look at this as something bad?

Not that it should matter, but Mr. Gillespie neglected to mention Ms. Schiavo was born, raised, and married in Pennsylvania.

As I’ve noted previously, not a single anti-Santorum letter has told us why we should vote for Bob Casey. Indeed, most of the letters don’t even mention Bob Casey.
