Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“After listening to President Bush’s State of The Union Address I wonder where the real threats facing this country are coming from.

“As in every address made by the president, he referred to the terrorist threat to the people of the United States. He, of course, never goes into detail as to who or where the threats are coming from or what we need to do to protect ourselves from this threat.”

[RWC] Is Mr. Grimm serious? After the past 25+ years, and especially after 9/11, is Mr. Grimm telling us he doesn’t know from “who or where the threats are coming from?”

“The only real threat that people have to face is when they go to the gas pump or open their utility bills. Those are the things that bring real terror to the hearts of every American.”

[RWC] What a load of BS! Besides, the President doesn’t control energy prices, the free market does. Let’s also not forget those people who are Bush bashers tend to be the same people who oppose domestic exploration for oil and gas, nuclear power, coal power, solar power, and wind power. They are all for alternative energy sources until they become reality.
