“In response to Wednesday’s letter to the editor ‘Palin should keep family life private,’ which attacked Sarah Palin and her family:
“Palin has been in the news because she is an outstanding woman with political aspirations. Her stunning good looks remind me of Helen of Troy, whose face launched a thousand ships.
“Palin’s good looks could launch all of the world’s ships - and her political savvy causes the media to put her in the spotlight.
“If letter writer Lynn Coleman Gardner wants in the spotlight, maybe she should run for office.”
[RWC] One of the problems with dumb letters like Ms. Gardner’s is they spawn dumb retaliatory letters like this one.
