Clinton supporters deserve respect for their positions; Carol A. Householder; Beaver County Times; October 31, 2016.

Mrs. Householder’s (CAH) husband is Harold L. Householder (HLH).  The latest HLH letter I reviewed was “Republican goal was to divide America.”

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“Lack of respect is one of the problems I have with this election cycle.  Donald Trump’s lack of respect for all of us has brought out the worst in his followers.  It’s not bad enough he treats and speaks about women the way he does, he actually has people believing it’s OK that he acts this way.

“People have wondered why we aren’t seeing many Hillary signs in peoples [sic] lawns.  I can give you one reason.  We have put out at least 18 signs.  Of that, a lot have either been stolen or destroyed.  What are Trump supporters so afraid of?  We have a right to our opinion, too.”

[RWC] One of our local lefty agitators has an invisible friend Harvey.  If any of CAH’s Hillary (HRC) signs were really “stolen or destroyed,” my bet it was Harvey, still angry HRC and Democrat party management conspired against his beloved Bernie Sanders.

“My husband wrote a letter published in August for which we received a three-page letter, front and back, on yellow legal paper of the most vulgar, disgusting language anyone could write.  Lots of misspelled words and improper sentence construction.  No doubt to mislead us into thinking an ignorant, uneducated person wrote it.”

[RWC] This paragraph makes no sense.  We’re constantly told Trump supporters are “ignorant, uneducated persons.”  Here, however, CAH appears to claim the opposite.  That is, CAH appears to claim the alleged letter was written by a smart person posing as a toothless, uneducated rube.  Why would someone do that?

“I believe we don’t need to agree with each other, but, the least we can do is have respect for out [sic] differences.  Clinton has already shown to all of us she has the intelligence and temperament to be the leader we need for the hard times ahead.  Trump can’t deport 12 million people, can’t build a wall and make Mexico pay for it, and can’t defeat ISIS by carpet bombing Iraq and Syria, killing innocent Muslims.  All that will do is cause more Muslims worldwide to join ISIS.  Trump is not fit to be president.”

[RWC] “the least we can do is have respect for out [sic] differences?”  Like when HRC referred to Donald Trump (DT) supporters as a “basket of deplorables?”  Speaking at a fundraiser, HRC said, “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables.  Right?  The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic -- you name it.  And unfortunately there are people like that.  And he [DT] has lifted them up.  He has given voice to their websites that used to only have 11,000 people -- now 11 million.  He tweets and retweets their offensive hateful mean-spirited rhetoric.  Now, some of those folks -- they are irredeemable, but thankfully they are not America.”

“Clinton has already shown to all of us she has the intelligence and temperament to be the leader we need for the hard times ahead?”  In his letter, HLH wrote, “Hillary Clinton could be the most qualified person to ever run for president.”  By what measure?
