This is at least the 5^th anti-Bush/anti-Republican letter from Mr. Hum since July 2004. He usually claims to be a Republican, though I have my doubts.

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“I don’t understand the March 30 editorial. It said let’s ‘not forget that families and physicians quietly make life and death decisions somewhere in the United States on a regular basis.’

“Our family has done that.

“Then, the editorial said we need to have a national discussion on who makes these decisions.

“Was it saying my family should have had Bush, DeLay and the rest of these grandstanders in our sick room? Give me a break.”

[RWC] Why didn’t Mr. Hum mention the trial judge? Mr. Hum also ignores the fact that Terri Schiavo’s natural family asked for help from the state and federal executive and legislative branches of government.
