Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“Do you want four more years of rich Republicans? They spend our hard-earned tax dollars for wining and dining and driving limousines. Rich Republicans freely spend tax dollars as they wish on trips and dinners for special meetings they make up.

“And thanks for the political fliers in the mail every day instead of feeding the homeless or paying our veterans.”

[RWC] Would that also include “the political fliers in the mail every day” for poor Democrats, or just those on behalf of evil “rich Republicans?”

“The truth hurts, rich Republicans. You will not make a sucker out of my vote. It means too much to me. How can you be a soccer mom in 50 states of our union? Wow, what a team player. Who has $250,000 to buy the family new clothes anyway? Like I said, remember rich Republicans.

“Undecided now?”

That said, where does Ms. Jergons get the idea all Republicans are “rich?” If about half of the population were “rich,” wouldn’t that mean anyone could be “rich?” On the other side, does Ms. Jergons have a problem with “rich” Democrats like John Edwards, Edward Kennedy, John Kerry Heinz, Jon Corzine, Al Gore, Bill & Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Peter Lewis, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Nancy Pelosi, Jay Rockefeller, et cetera?

Finally, it’s too bad Ms. Jergons is so envious of others.
