Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.


“This is not a long letter but a big question.

“We are not allowed to go to Canada to buy drugs at a reasonable cost to us because they may not be approved by the FDA.

“But - we can get our flu vaccine from England.  Does this make any sense at all?

“Just a curious old biddy who would like to know the honest-to-goodness answer to this question.”

[RWC] The answer is easy.  Drugs sold directly in the United States must be approved by the FDA regardless of where the drugs are manufactured.
