Who will pick the crops?; Clyde Parsons; Beaver County Times; February 24, 2017.

A previous Parsons letter was “Don’t tax job-creators.”

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“If our president wants to get rid of all undocumented immigrants, who is going to pick the peppers, tomatoes and fruit?  Lettuce will be $10 a head.

“Are you going to pick tomatoes for $5 a bushel or work in the fields for 12 hours a day?  Oh, I can see you getting on the bus right now.”

[RWC] Based on his previous letter, I concluded this letter was simply sarcasm.  A lot of commenters on the BCT website took the letter seriously.
