Bruce Prisuta – 1/26/07This page was last updated on January 27, 2007. Make tobacco illegal; Bruce Prisuta; Beaver County Times; January 26, 2007. Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter. “My right to breathe clean, fresh, unpolluted air is second to none. That’s the bottom line. No exceptions. End of discussion.” [RWC] Hmm, are we to believe Mr. Prisuta lives a lifestyle in which he generates no air pollution? I could be wrong, but I suspect he uses cars and/or buses for transportation, coal-generated electricity, buys products made and delivered by the consumption of fuel, et cetera. If he’s a farmer, his livestock generate air pollution. If Mr. Prisuta is a produce farmer, are we to assume he uses no machinery? © 2004-2007 Robert W. Cox, all rights reserved. |
