Voters, keep up the good work; Naomi Davis Strayer; Beaver County Times; July 27, 2008.

Below is a detailed critique of the letter.

“I want to thank Beaver County voters and everyone else who finally decided enough is enough.

“No matter whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, none of us taxpayers should be abused as we have been by the Democratic Party, especially former state Rep. Mike Veon, the Count Dracula who, with his cohorts, sucked the very blood out of us taxpayers.

“We can vote again for an honest and decent representative for the 14th Legislative District, a man who had the courage to run against Veon in the last election and is now running for a second term.

“God willing, Jim Marshall will be a winner again. I want to thank him for his intelligence and integrity.

“I also would like to thank state Attorney General Tom Corbett for his extensive work in freeing us from these politicians. Remember to vote for him also.”

[RWC] Other than he allegedly has “intelligence and integrity,” Ms. Strayer didn’t tell us why people in his district should vote for him. Don’t get me wrong; intelligence and integrity are critical traits to possess, but other than not being a crook, what recommends Mr. Marshall?
