Clinton is the top candidate; John M. Tomaszewski; Beaver County Times; February 21, 2008.

Since September 2004, this is at least the 23^rd letter from Mr. Tomaszewski spouting liberal talking points, with most bashing Republicans and/or President Bush.

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“At this time, it appears we have three choices for president — John McCain, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

“If you want to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan— and possibly send our soldiers to Iran and Pakistan — and want one who has no economic knowledge, McCain will be your choice.”

[RWC] Translation: Mr. McCain is the only candidate of the three without a stated cut-and-run strategy. By the way, I thought Democrats told us they support the action in Afghanistan. I guess Mr. Tomaszewski just told us that’s a myth.

Mr. McCain said he wasn’t an economics expert. If you believe socialists Clinton and Obama have useful “economic knowledge,” I have a bridge to sell you.

“If you want an energetic young orator and one who lacks experience in making critical decisions, Obama is your choice.”

[RWC] When it comes to running any private or public organization of any size, none of the three have experience.

“If you want one who has outstanding scholastic credentials, experience in making tough decisions and great foreign relations knowledge, your choice is Hillary Clinton.”

[RWC] Wow, Mrs. Clinton graduated from college. So did Messrs. McCain, Obama, and millions of other people. To which “tough decisions and great foreign relations knowledge” is Mr. Tomaszewski referring?

“Hillary can win the general election.”
