BCT “news” article – 6/11/14

I covered most of the points relevant to this article in my critique of “Doing as others do.”  Though not mentioned in this article, the BCT has conceded an extraction/severance tax is “a tax that is paid by consumers,” not some faceless business/industry.  Of course, this is true for all so-called business taxes, just like the minimum wage.  For greater detail, please read the “Who pays for a minimum-wage increase?” section of “The Minimum Wage.”
