Zero sense: Another school errs on the side of folly; Editorial; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; December 26, 2006.

Rather than do a point-by-point critique of the editorial, I’ll make only a couple of comments.

Just as the Beaver County Times in three editorials (“Beyond belief,” “Senseless,” and “Inflexible”) on this topic since 2004, the PG doesn’t explore the origins of zero tolerance school policies.  Instead, both newspapers focus on the inevitable idiotic actions resulting from these policies.
