Tick-tock: Climate change also heralds the crack of doom; Editorial; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette; January 28, 2007.

Rather do a full piece-by-piece critique, I’ll address only one point.

In its conclusion, the editorial states, “In his State of the Union address, President Bush seemed at last to acknowledge the challenge of global climate change [emphasis mine].  At five minutes to midnight, he'd better be sincere.”

As I noted in my critique of the PG editorial “Feeble state” of January 25th, President Bush announced “Clear Skies & Global Climate Change Initiatives” nearly five years ago during February 2002.

Why is the PG dead set on convincing us President Bush has never addressed the issue of climate change?
