Mr. White lost in Beaver County in both 2006 and 2010. On Facebook, Mr. White describes his “Political Views” as “Moderate.” Sure. “Moderate,” “centrist,” etc. are leftyspeak for “liberal,” “progressive,” and other leftisms. On his campaign website, Mr. White describes his “style” as “fiery and aggressive.” According to his biography on his official website, Mr. White “operates his own law practice, White & Associates.” Despite the name, White & Associates appears to be a “one-man band.” Mr. White’s biography also indicates “He worked … in the legal department for the United Steelworkers of America in Pittsburgh.” Mr. White was convicted of defamation and invasion of privacy in April 2011.

Mr. White sometimes spams his opinion so you may find his pieces on his campaign website, the Beaver Countian, and/or Canon-MacMillan Patch.

This will be a pretty short critique.

Mr. White wrote, “Women currently pay $1 billion more than men each year for the same health plans in the individual market due to gender rating that enables insurers to charge women premiums up to 150% higher than men for identical benefits. The Affordable Care Act will make gender rating illegal starting in 2014.” “The Affordable Care Act” is Obamacare.

Lefties don’t seem to know how insurance works. Insurance companies determine policy premiums based on how much they can expect to payout in benefits. That’s why people with bad driving records pay higher premiums for auto insurance than good drivers. It’s the same thing for medical insurance. Even NPR notes, “Insurers charge women more because they tend to be bigger consumers of health care than men, in part because they’re the ones who get pregnant and give birth.” While the usual suspects claim eliminating “gender rating” is simply being “fair,” it is exactly the opposite. Lefties are merely pandering to buy female votes.
