Just three days ago, the editorial “Risky business” said, “Addiction does not lend itself to long-term thinking. Like all junkies, all state officials are concerned is to feed their habit - right now.” In my critique I wrote, “This is the same ‘newspaper’ that supports just about every government spending program that comes down the pike and consistently supports new and/or increased taxes.” As if on cue, today the Times (spending “junkies?”) complains about a lack of funding for a new road and doesn’t even bother to address from where the money would come. Is your head ready to explode yet?
