The real fraud; Editorial; Beaver County Times; September 1, 2011.

The BCT has published editorials in opposition to a photo ID requirement and pooh-poohing voter fraud since at least 2006 (here, here, and here).

This editorial leads off with “Republicans in Harrisburg and state legislatures across the country don’t trust you.”  This summer Rhode Island passed a law requiring a photo ID to vote.  If the voter doesn’t present a photo ID at the poll, he can vote using a provisional ballot not counted until confirmation of the voter’s identity.  Did I forget to note RI voters reliably vote Democrat and Democrats hold overwhelming majorities in both houses of the General Assembly?  The governor is an independent, a former U.S. Senate RINO with high ADA Liberal Quotients.  Oops, darn that Internet!  FYI, leftist darling former-President Jimmy Carter supports a photo ID for voting.  Darn that Internet again!  This is info we’re not supposed to know about.
