Would Palin serve the U.S. or Israel?; Stephen F. Kislock, III; Beaver County Times; February 11, 2010.

Most of Mr. Kislock’s 50+ letters over the last five years have been Republican-bashing exercises, though he sometimes goes after Democrats for his pet causes.  Sometime during 2009 Mr. Kislock became an in-house commentator for Beaver County Blue.

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“Americans say The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: ‘I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.’

“At the Tea Party Nation convention at Nashville, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was wearing a lapel pin that had the crossed flags of Israel and the United States.  Does this mean Palin will represent two countries if elected president?

“Will this be the new American/Israeli pledge of allegiance: ‘I pledge allegiance to the flags of the United States and Israel and the republics for which they stand, two nations under two Gods, indivisible, with liberty and justice for some.’”

[RWC] If you’re familiar with Mr. Kislock’s letter-writing body of work, you may recall he has a thing about Israel.  Examples are “All candidates are pro-Israel” and “History will judge U.S., Israel harshly.”

“The Tea Party Nation, is this a misnomer?

“The Tea Party Nations is a better description from what I see and hear from Palin.”

[RWC] The fear Mrs. Palin instills in lefties never ceases to amaze me.  I can understand why lefties fear the Tea Party “movement,” but Mrs. Palin?
