America pledges its allegiance to fear; Stephen F. Kislock, III; Beaver County Times; August 5, 2010.

Most of Mr. Kislock’s 55+ letters over the last six years have been Republican-bashing exercises, though he sometimes goes after Democrats for his pet causes.  Sometime during 2009 Mr. Kislock became an in-house commentator for Beaver County Blue.

Below is a detailed critique of the subject letter.

“‘‘I pledge allegiance to fear that is this United States of America, and to the very rich who own 97 percent of all two nations, one rich, the other poor, under ‘citizens united,’ divided by race with limited liberties and a slim hope of justice.’’

“This is where the United States is today.  Let us pledge to make tomorrow better.”

[RWC] Mr. Kislock appears to be obsessed with the alleged “fear” of Americans.  You may recall Mr. Kislock’s letters entitled “Fear has gotten the better of us,” “We need to change anthem’s last stanza,” and “The curtain comes down in Arizona.”  Other letters accuse Mr. Kislock’s opponents of fear mongering.  If you’re familiar with Mr. Kislock’s body of work, he appears to be a hypocrite regarding “fear.”  Heck, go to Beaver County Blue - a website Mr. Kislock writes for - and you find his fellow PDA members claim “the banks plan to steal this [Socialist Security] money by raising premiums and raising the retirement age.”

Does anyone outside of Progressive Democrats of America – PA 4th CD Chapter take Mr. Kislock seriously?
